[2010-06-17] Election for President and Board completed The elections for the presidents and board of the Inverse Problems International Association have been completed. New president of the society is Prof. Gunther Uhlmann from the University of Washington, USA. As vice presidents Prof. Otmar Scherzer (Vienna, Austria) and Prof. Masahiro Yamamoto (Tokyo, Japan) have been elected. Further members of the steering board of the society are Liliana Borcea (Rice Univ., USA), Jin Cheng (Fudan Univ., Shanghai, China), Matti Lassas (Helsinki, Finland) and Roland Potthast (Reading, UK/ DWD Offenbach, Germany). The new presidents and the officers will conduct and inspire the further development of the society. Author: 0
