26	Large-scale inverse problems in the earth sciences in Linz, Austria	2011-10-24 - 2011-10-28
The topic of this Special Semester is "Multiscale Simulation and Analysis in Energy and the Environment". It will start on October 3rd 2011 and finish on December 16th 2011 and will focus on the accurate modelling and simulation of multiscale problems in earth science applications, including stochastic uncertainty quantification and large scale inverse problems. There will be four focused workshops and an ongoing programme througout the semester with longterm visitors, PhD students and postdocs, including special lecture courses and research kitchens.
